''I really want to succeed this time,'' said Ikuo Kashima, before setting sail from Tannowa Yacht Harbor in the town of Misaki, Osaka Prefecture, in his 13.92-ton yacht Koraasa-70. Kashima plans to sail across the Pacific around Cape Horn at the southern tip of South America, past the southern coasts of Africa and south of Australia's Tasmania island before heading back to Japan.
